Capcom has confirmed that the rumored Dead Rising live-action Japanese film, directed by series creator Keiji Inafune, IS the real deal!
This was confirmed via the Capcom blog, but the official Dead Rising movie web-site is also up and live, albeit in Japanese.
The storyline basically amounts to this, to quote from the Capcom blog.
